Bilbo Baggins, along with the wizard Gandalf and 13 dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield, is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost dwarf kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug. J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit is a re-edited version of Peter Jackson's trilogy. It combines the three films into a single cinematic experience that's more faithful to Tolkien's novel.
