Hagiwara decided to retire from the entertainment industry to study English abroad in New Zealand following the disbandment of ℃-ute on June 12, 2017. In May 2018, she was announced as a design producer for the project &IDOL, and on September 13, 2018, she launched her own clothing brand With Mii.
