Overview
Danish version of Alexandre Bisson's play Madame X. Jacqueline is thrown out of the house by her husband after cheating on her, and she doesn't get to take her young son with her. She flees to America, but later returns and becomes involved in extortion. She is arrested and her son, who has since become a lawyer and whom she hasn't seen for 20 years, is put on trial.
