Fresh
Like Pabst Blue Ribbon, which the characters drink by the case, this bubba comedy about cheating spouses is good for a cheap buzz.

Candy and Lonnie Earl are just crazy about each other. The problem: she's married to Roy and he's married to Darlene. So far it's been a secret affair. But that's about to change, because this foursome is driving cross-country and headed for some big surprises.

Brady achieves the remarkable feat of squandering a topnotch foursome of actors ... by shoving them into every cliched white-trash situation imaginable.
John Patterson, L.A. Weekly
Rotten
I like all four of the lead actors a lot and they manage to squeeze a few laughs out of the material, but they're treading water at best in this forgettable effort.
Richard Roeper, Ebert & Roeper
Rotten
A hillbilly romantic comedy in which the hillbillies show up but the romance and comedy never do.
Todd McCarthy, Variety
Rotten
There's nothing remotely topical or sexy here.
