Top Critics Reviews

fresh:
A breezy pleasure.
– Cary Darling,
Miami Herald,
7 Sep 2001
rotten:
A talky, plodding romantic comedy in which the viewer is just waiting for the obvious plot twist to happen. And when it does, it's too unconvincing to feel satisfying.
– Malcolm Ritter,
Associated Press,
8 Aug 2001
rotten:
Quickly becomes silly and tedious.
– Kevin Thomas,
Los Angeles Times,
3 Aug 2001
rotten:
A tone of lame amiability doesn't compensate for lack of invention.
– Desmond Ryan,
Philadelphia Inquirer,
2 Aug 2001
rotten:
Suffers from a slow-paced, contrived script.
– Frank Scheck,
Hollywood Reporter,
