Overview
Perry is a happily married father of two living a comfortable but sedate life in the suburbs. On the occasion of his 40th birthday, he seeks to revisit his former life as the lead singer in a popular punk band though his middle-aged reality quickly (and hilariously) clashes with the indulgences of his youth.

Critics on Rotten Tomatoes
Top critics, in their words
Unless you're trying to recreate some sort of updated, role-swapped kid show - a sitcom without a sensibility, but a guaranteed group-hug at the end - "Ordinary World" is a pretty extraordinary failure.
The film turns into a predictable midlife-crisis yarn.
The film distinguishes itself by what it lacks: simple, unrealistic answers to Perry's regrets and the hole in his soul.
Like your average three-chord rock song, Ordinary World is easy enough to get into - even if it doesn't get stuck in your head.
