Overview
Hikari, a young wife, faces relentless pressure from her toxic mother-in-law and her own toxic parents, who demand, "Give us an heir—fast!" and "Produce an heir and make sure you keep that cash cow firmly in your grasp!" While she has been diligently undergoing fertility treatments, she happens to see her husband Masanobu’s medical test results—only to discover, to her shock, that the issue lies with him. Desperate, Hikari devises a plan and consults Hitomi—Masanobu’s ex-wife and her own friend. Following Hitomi’s suggestion, Hikari secretly conceives a child with a young man named Ken. When Hikari becomes pregnant, her husband and mother-in-law are overjoyed. However, the secrets harbored by each family member gradually come to light, leading to an irreparable situation.
