Vidar has become in a short time one of Norway's most popular editors.
After a short carrier in the army, and an even shorter as kinder garden employed Vidar started to make coffee for the popular soap "Seven sisters". After mingling with the right people he managed to get his way into the editing room. He saw the editors job as a game of puzzles and was attracted to the process.
After calling The Norwegian film school and being harshly turned away by an not very nice employee who told him he wasn't good enough, Vidar started his long climb up the ladder to reach his goal: A government granted film education. He has been AD for soap serials, assistant editor on the Norwegian film "schpaa", and working on numerous short-film projects. After studying film science at Lillehammer he was finally accepted at The Norwegian Film school. Where he also met his beautiful wife Cecilie.
Vidar's long way to the film business has made him strong and focused. The way he approaches new material and his dedicated way of working is unique. His editing work on the feature films; "Loop", "Uno", "Pitbull Terje" and now his most challenging film "Den Brysomme mannen" has shown that Vidar has strong talent for the profession. His international break is not far away.
