Duangkamol graduated from the Faculty of Arts Chulalongkorn University Branch of theatrical arts in 1985 and then worked in the television industry. She co-founded Exact, a subsidiary of the GMM Grammy, and produced a television series in 1992. She studied film business management from UCLA in 1997.
Duangkamol died of lung cancer at the age of 39 on December 8 , 2003. Shortly before her death, she was awarded Producer of the Year 2003 on November 20, 2003 at the CineAsia II Film Business Forum.
